 George Cappannelli 

George Cappannelli is an award-winning author, sculptor and film and television producer/direction.  He is also an expert on individual, organizational and societal change and an internationally known consultant and coach who has worked with hundreds of the country’s leading organizations in both the private and public sectors   including NASA, Boeing, Sun Micro Systems, The Disney Company, PepsiCo, The LA Times, The U.S. Navy and many others as well as thousands of people in the general public who attend his talks and programs. He is also an Emmy Award winning television producer/director and co-producer and director of the new Telly Award, 40 Episode Ageless Living Television Series now airing on PBS stations across the country and an award winning sculptor.

George has co-authored 5 award winning books with Sedena, his wife and business partner. Do Not Go Quietly, A Guide to Living the Life You Were Born to Live for People Who Weren’t Born Yesterday , recipient of nine national book awards including the 2013 Gold Nautilus Award.  Other books include The Best Is Yet To Be, How to Age Wisely and Fall In Love With Your Life Again, Getting Unstuck, Ten Simple Secrets To Embracing Change and Celebrating Life, Say Yes To Change, 25 Keys To Making Change Work For You and Authenticity, Simple Strategies For Greater Meaning and Purpose at Work and at Home.

George has also authored, The Power of One, The Merlin Manuscript, It’s About Time and Timelessness, and a trilogy of novels about art and transformation, Old Stones and Promises.  He is currently at work on a new book, The Art of Living at the End of Time.

He is the Co-Founder of AgeNation, and its sister non-profit, Empower New Mexico, two organizations that offer education, engagement, inspiration and solutions “for people who weren’t born yesterday” and that supports people and organizations serving vulnerable sections of our aging population.

George also has served as a strategic consultant in the political sector.  As the campaign manager for Jerry Brown in his U.S. Senate bid from California in the late 1980’s and as special consultant in 3 presidential campaigns.  He has served as the Executive Director of the Sedona Institute, the founding Director of the International Integrity Foundation and one of the Directors of the Society for the Advancement of Human Spirit, an organization chaired by The Dalai Lama.  As a result of his involvement in special projects he has had the opportunity to work with Golda Meyer, Lech Walesa, Mother Teresa and Bishop Desmond Tutu.    

His career also includes work in the transformational learning and training field as a lead facilitator, trainer of facilitators and training designer in both the corporate and public sectors.  He has launched several non-profits and recently he returned to television production, as co-producer and director of the Ageless Living Series, a 40 Episode Series featuring 22 award winning authors and experts.  The series is currently airing on PBS.  

George and his wife, Sedena, co-author and co-founder of the various organizations listed here, live in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
